Grooming and Boarding Services

Colma area pet grooming at Colma Animal Hospital comes in the form of bathing. It’s provided to dogs and cats in the mornings every Monday through Saturday. To receive a bath, you must make a reservation for your pet in advance.

When your furry friend boards with us, you can request them to have a bath on the day you pick them up. However, you must notify the hospital of this when you first drop them off for boarding. Because bathing occurs in the mornings, you will have to pick your pet up in the afternoon, and pay an extra charge.

Along with bathing, our boarding facility boasts separate rooms for dogs and cats, and all bedding, blankets, food, and water bowls are provided by us. If you like, you can bring your own food and treats from home. This is especially required if your pet is allergic to certain foods or is on their own diet plan. If your pet is on medication, bring that along to board with them as well, and be sure to bring enough for them to last their whole stay.

For safety reasons, Colma Animal Hospital asks that pets be treated for external parasites such as fleas and ticks. We also recommend they be up-to-date on their vaccinations, particularly with the following:
